A bright avocado-free dip inspired by guacamole, made with green peas, lemon, garlic, tomato, and cilantro.
Ingredients
- Frozen peas
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- Fresh lemon juice
- Grated fresh garlic
- Tomato
- Fresh cilantro
- Red onion
Process
- 1 Let the frozen peas defrost for less than 20 minutes.
- 2 Put the peas in a cup to blend.
- 3 Add olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and lemon juice.
- 4 Blend, but do not overmix; it can still be a bit chunky.
- 5 Chop the red onion very fine, cut the tomato into small cubes, and chop the cilantro.
- 6 Mix everything into the peas with a spoon or fork.
- 7 Serve next to chili sin carne, with nachos, or on toast.
